Soon, the Kalachakra Mandala of Semjyi Nyida County (Dechen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture), built at a cost of 500 million RMB, will be inaugurated. The night before the ceremony, the Guinness Book of Records registrar, Lisa, carried out an inspection over the course of three hours, announcing that the Kalachakra Mandala was officially the biggest in the world, and registered it as such. The mandala is found on the eighth floor of Dechen Prefecture's Central Shambala Kalachakra Mandala building. It is eight meters high and 14 meters in diameter at the base. The mandala is on display at the Mandala Square in the center of Semjyi Nyida Town, which was constructed with money from the Dechen Tourism Association.
