From People's Web. According to our information, the TAR branch of the Buddhist Society has worked hard to save, publish, and distribute the Tanjyur and Guanjyur. Up until now, they have finished carving and editing more than 7,000 printing blocks for the Nartang Edition of the Guanjyur. The Nartang printing house is in Zhigatse's Nartang Monastery, and is the oldest printing house in the TAR. It was established under the order of the sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Jyamtso, in order to print the Tanjyur.
