On the 20th of January, Zhejiang University finally unveiled the sign for its Research Center on Chinese and Tibetan Buddhist Art. During the conference 'Research into the Religious Art History of Tibet, China, and Numerous Other Ethnicities', the changing, merging and transformation of religious art forms during the Song Dynasty, Tibetan Empire, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, were discussed. On the 25th of September 2014, Zhejiang University gave permission to establish the Zhejiang University Center for Research on Chinese and Tibetan Buddhist Art. The center is based at the university.
