According to information from the 3rd session of the TAR's 10th People's Representative Assembly, this year, the TAR will protect the Potala Palace through legal measures provided by the 'Ordinance to Protect the Architectural Heritage of the Potala Palace'. The leader of the standing committee of the TAR People's Representative Assembly, Padma Trinle, said, "In order to reinforce the protection of Tibetan intangible cultural heritage, in 2014 the TAR People's Representative Assembly created the 'TAR Implementation Strategy of the People's Republic of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage Law', in order to bear the responsibility of lawfully researching, maintaining, and disseminating intangible cultural heritage."
