According to information provided by Tibet University's Modern Education Technology Centre on the 18th, China's professional Tibetan-Chinese translation software will soon be released, and at that time, this service will be provided to the public for free. This software will be called 'Sunshine Tibetan-Chinese Machine Translation'. More than 20 people from Tibet University worked in the new technology unit for over three years with 2 million RMB in funding to overcome challenges and successfully achieve their goal. At present, research indicates that the translator has reached a 75% level of accuracy. Additionally, this research unit is still classifying and analyzing terms in order to develop two electronic dictionaries: Truklok Dictionary and Milok Dictionary.
